We Finally Did It — We Turned the Classic Macintosh Into an Alarm Clock.
After 240 days of obsessing over every curve, texture, and pixel, we finally recreated the iconic Macintosh 128K as a 1:3 alarm clock — down to the vents on the back — and brought it straight to your desk.
Why did we make it?
- It’s a classic from 1984, worth remembering.
- Since we can’t collect the real machine, we created an emotional alternative to own.
- Our designer simply respects vintage classics.
How crazy are the details?
- Classic Mac startup smiley face—instantly pulls you back to the 80s.
- Floppy-disk-style UI, insert-and-boot nostalgia maxed out.
- Top lever = power button + backlight touch switch (yes, it’s a hidden feature).
- 8000K backlight mimicking CRT tones, with a knob to adjust brightness.
- Multi-info display: time, date, weekday, temperature, alarm/sleep mode.
- Pixelated retro dot-matrix font with built-in vintage tech filter.
- Comes with DIY stickers for the body.
- Type-C charging port.
